A WORKOUT FOR THE MIND AND SPIRIT

DanceDaigre creates a supportive and welcoming experience for people to have fun and express themselves, rather than focus so much on choreography. You can do more than you thought.  You will always leave energized with a big smile.


Each class begins with a warm up to open up our shoulders, spine and other major muscles and joints.  At this point, the body is relaxed and prepared to move.  The dance begins with simple, easy to follow instructions and movements.  Because we combine the familiar with a little something new, you learn the dance in a comfortable progressive way.  The variety of movements include percussive isolations and elongated stretches all designed to build personal strength, flexibility, endurance, agility and the ability to move with joyful self-expression.  Each class ends with dancers cheering and clapping for ourselves and each other.

Basic:  A selection of classic moves.  Easy to follow and repetitious.  The class starts with a Pilates based floor work to loosen joints and stretch muscles.  For beginning students with little or no experience and others looking for a slower pace.

 All Levels:  A greater selection of classic moves.  A challenge to your muscle memory.  The class starts with standing warm up to loosen joints and stretch muscles.  For students familiar with the classic moves and looking for a pace faster than Basic.
